I spotted this article in a magazine. The title was, "Change Your Life In 30 Days"
Well, I stopped reading at Day 5!
That's all I need to hear!

Day 27 ~ First No Bus Day Of 2012
Winter has finally arrived here in Arthur.
Checking for bus cancellations, every division is cancelled today...Yellow, Blue, Pink, and Green!
I guess it's time to dust off those shovels and get to work.

Day 23 ~ Tender Tootsies
You have got to love a small town.
You know you live in a small town when you can go for a pedicure and have a glass of wine with it.
So, this was my first ever pedicure, pretty sad eh?
I'm sure I will be having more.

Day 22 ~ More Sparkles
Playing with sparkles...
I don't really like how this turned out, (not quite what I had in mind) I'm going to have to try it again.

Day 21 ~ Sunrise Sparkle
This is the railing on the back deck with the sun coming up and freshly fallen snow.
So glad I took this photo. As I'm writing this a few days later the snow is all just about gone.

Day 20 ~ Marble Set
Took him a while but, with a bit of blood, sweat and tears (OK, about an hour and a half) It's assembled and ready! I present to you the Galaxy glow in the dark marble set. Complete with flashing planets, very cool!

Here's Quasi relaxing down stairs by the stove having a chew!
It's a good way to spend a chilly Wednesday morning.

Day 17 ~ One Lonely Decoration
Well it took me long enough but, I found that last decoration that seems to get left behind while the rest are stored away. I guess I don't look up at the decorative boxes on the wall enough. It makes me wonder if anyone who was here over the holidays (or after) even noticed this little guy there?
Make painted this in Kindergarten.

Day 16 ~ A New Hat
Since Mack lost his hat during our outing yesterday, we bought him a new one.
What do you think?
Is it wrong that a monkey is wearing another monkey? LMAO!

Day 15 ~ $$$
Our first Costco run of the year. It was a pricey one, $537 later.
My son even managed to lose his hat while we were out.

Day 14 ~ Making A Call
We pass by this old empty phone booth quite often when we are in Fergus. I thought it would make a neat photo...the catch was to talk my husband into posing for me. He thought it was trespassing and didn't want to. I suppose he was right, but it was just one quick photo. SO, I twisted his arm (more like threatened him) and voila!
Here's Devon on his Blackberry in a phone booth, bwahaha...does anyone else see the humor here like I do?

Day 12 ~ Off To The Press!
My Joy Of Luck book is on it's way to the Blurb printer to be produced!
So excited to see how this comes together.
Now, I'm anxious to get going on my 2011 365 book. But, before I venture into that I feel the need to celebrate! Yes it's true...I'll take any reason I can to pour a glass of wine. However this is a legitimate reason to celebrate if you ask me.

Day 11 ~ I Can't Believe This Weather!
Is it really January 11th?
It doesn't even feel like winter this year. I wonder if we are going to pay for this really mild weather and lack of snow.
Since it's so nice we are taking advantage of it and heading out for as many walks as we can.
You can't have a walk without your Tims!

Day 10 ~ Mater-National
In my opinion, there are not many things funnier than a 3 year old playing a Wii racing game!
The way they move their whole bodies steering.
The look of concentration on their little faces.
The squeal's of delight when they win.
Thanks for the entertainment Owen!
Here's the game Owen was playing.
A little FYI, the sound track for this game is as good as the first Cars movie. Proven not to annoy the adult who has to listen to 5 kids taking turns playing this game.

Day 9 ~ My Mornings Just Got Better!
With the purchase of a Keurig, I am one very happy girl!
So far I've tried the Hazelnut, Kahlua, Hot Chocolate, and Spicy Eggnog. Tomorrow morning I'm going to try the Cinnamon Pastry! (I've got the coffee jitters)lol
Anybody want to pop over for a coffee? I still have some Banana Bread to go with it too.

Day 8 ~ Cream Cheesse Banana Nut Bread
Another Pinterest recipe I just had to try.
It's a keeper!
***Makes 2 loaves***
3/4 c. butter, softened
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
2 c. sugar
2 large eggs
3 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 cups mashed bananas (about 4 medium bananas)
1 cup roughly chopped pecans, toasted
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
Beat butter and cream cheese at medium speed with an electric mixer until creamy. Gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating just until blended after each addition.
Combine flour and next 3 ingredients; gradually add to butter mixture, beating at low speed just until blended. Stir in bananas, pecans, and vanilla. Spoon batter into 2 greased and floured 8x4 inch loaf pans.
Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until a long wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean and sides pull away from pan.

Day 6 ~ Frustrating!
I was attempting to make my 365 book for 2011.
That was short lived due to frustration. I gave up on that for now and moved on to making a smaller book to start off with. I love scrapbooking and have been scrapbooking for years. This however, is my first go at digital. I decided I better start with a 30 page book before I tackle the 'big one'.
Last February I signed up for an on-line photography class, The Joy Of Love. I think it's about time I turn the 28 day photo prompts and lessons into a book. (yes, I'm really behind and need to get motivated.)

Day 7 ~ PetSmart
Took Quasi in to get his nails done today. He just loves car rides, visits to PetSmart, and the treats he gets from there. If he could talk, I think he would tell you that he had a great day!
He was one happy puppy!

Day 5 ~ Excited To Try This
Have you ever tried Booster Juice?
I haven't, but I'm looking forward to giving it a try. We walk past the store every time we are at the mall. Of course we always say, "we should try that one of these days." Then we keep walking...right to NewYork Fries.
Well, no excuses now. Thanks to Shreddies, we have a few coupons.

Day 4 ~ When Your Appetite Returns...Turn To Reese!
Finally, we are all back to normal! Well, as normal as we ever were.
With my appetite back I'm ready for my favorite treat.
Hmm, maybe with my energy back I should start some sort of exercise program?
BWAAHAHA! Who am I kidding, that's just not going to happen.
Going on a diet or eating healthy are clearly not any resolutions I have made this year.

Day 2 ~ Joining The General Population!
We all woke up this morning feeling much better. After being bed ridden for a few days we figured we better get out and enjoy some fresh air and just get out of the house! We left the house around 10:00, we returned around 1:00 and guess what? Our outing pretty much done us all in. We came home, gathered up some pillows and blankets and hit the couches. It was an afternoon of napping and just laying around. We didn't even cook dinner, no one was hungry.
The only good thing about getting the flu after Christmas is how fast you can lose the extra weight gained from the yummy Christmas feast.
It's back to work tomorrow, I really hope we all have our energy and appetites back.
Here is Nolan sleeping...and of course, Quasi will jump at any opportunity to lay on the couch with someone.

Day 1 ~ Project 365, Round Two
Technically I guess this will be a 366, since it's a leap year.
I'm still feeling sick and fatigued.
So, just a quick photo and I'm going back to bed.
Happy New Year everyone!

Top 11 of 2011!
WOW, can you believe 2011 is over...where did it go?
I'm linking up with Sarah, Courtney, and Amber for another great opportunity to show off my kids!
My silly, funny, drive me crazy at times, can brighten a room with their smiles, always make me laugh, never a dull moment around boys. Enjoy!
I'm so glad I took the plunge and tried this 365 project! I know for sure I have taken a lot more photos of my boys then I normally would have.
Picking only 11 was not very easy.

This was one of the first photos of the year, this was also
pre-DSLR. (I'm a work in progress)
It's not perfect but, it's one of my favorites for sure!
Mack and Nolan with my 94 year old Grandma on her Birthday!
Family movie night!
Look at my leprechauns!
This was taken on a trip over to Elora, great day!
Sitting on the roof of the Jeep at the Drive-In.
I love this picture of Nolan, you could get lost in those eyes.
Canada Day celebration, crazy boys!
I think you need a bigger umbrella Mack!
Love this one.
The boys needed to play dead at the "Dead End", what a couple of hams!

Day 365 ~ Wow, I Did It!
A Picture a day for an entire year!
I'm so glad I tried this...and better yet, so glad I finished it!
There were days that were difficult to find the inspiration to take a photo.
There were days that were super easy and tons of photos were taken.
There were days that the photos told great stories that I'm glad I captured.
There were days that I found if I wasn't doing this, I would have missed a great moment and memory.
There were days that I challenged myself to try something new with my camera.
I've had a lot of friends and family ask if I will do this again. My answer...Yes, most definitely! I haven't made up my mind about continuing the Blogging part of it however. It's hard to say. I found the Blogging is what took up the most time, and hard to keep up with. The thing is...now at the end and looking back, I now have a story and memory for everyday. It's going to make a great scrapbook of 2011.
Thank you for following my journey.
Thank you fellow Bloggers for your kind words and encouragement though out the year. I have really enjoyed visiting your Blogs and seeing your journeys as well!
Thank you to each and every one of you for being a part of my 2011! Here's to friendships...both new and old... and to another year filled with possibilities for each and every one of you! ♥ ♥ ♥ Happy New Year everyone!!!
One last photo, One last story, One last memory.
I was hoping for a much more interesting photo for the last day. However, Nolan and I came down with the flu. Devon and Mack went to a New Years celebration we were all invited to, while Nolan and I watched movies and snuggled on the couch.
